Taphouse celebrates Ranelagh Arts Festival 2018

To celebrate Ranelagh Arts Festival 2018, taking place from 27th September – 7th October, we ran a competition across social media giving local artists a chance to have their artwork adorn the front of the pub for the month of October.

After reviewing lots of incredible submissions, we settled on a beautiful design by illustrator Nathanaël Roman.

The Ranelagh Arts Festival launched on September 27th at the Ranelagh Arts Centre, hosted by Chairman Tony Strickland with guest appearance by well known artist and Ranelagh resident Liam Ó’Maonlaí.

About the Ranelagh Arts Festival

A group of Ranelagh residents came together in 2005 to deliver an innovative and inclusive Arts Festival for the local community. Since then, the festival has featured local artists and musicians, performances by children from the area, poetry, plays, film, history and photography. Internationally recognised artists that have been part of Ranelagh Arts include Paul Brady, Maura O’Connell, John Banville, Anne Enright, Anthony Cronin, Ken Doherty, Donal O’Sullivan and Maureen O’Hara.
