We cater for all kinds of parties, from an informal get together with friends, family or work colleagues to more formal celebrations like weddings or those special work related events & celebrations. Whatever you have in mind, we have the spaces and people to make it a memorable event.
Our spaces
Our main party spaces are on the 1st floor and consist of 3 main areas. The large Upstairs Lounge, which can be booked in its entirety for larger private parties or corporate events or by section - the Round, the Oval, the Island, the Deck. The other 2 spaces are the Glass Room and the Terrace.
Also located on the 1st Floor is the Karaoke Room, our state-of-the-art Karaoke and Multi-Media studio. This can be hired separately, or as part of any other party package.
The entire 1st floor can be booked for larger parties of up to 150 guests.
The Upstairs Lounge
Details The Upstairs Lounge is made up of a number of interlocking areas - the Deck, the Round, The Oval, The Island and the Bar area. It is designed around the concept of a Hi-Fi Music Lounge
Capacity 100 - increases to 150 if the Glass Room and Terrace are added to the booking
Hire Cost Free for smaller parties, there is a minimum spend however for any bookings for the full area
Features Exclusive private seating area, 4 x 65” 4K TVs for presentations or screenings. Access to zoned sound system, full private bar and option to include the Karaoke Room as part of your booking free of charge for larger bookings
The Glass Room
Details The Glass Room sits between the Terrace and the Upstairs Lounge and is a totally private area for smaller gatherings.
Capacity 20 seated or 30 for a canapé style event (85 if Terrace space added)

The Karaoke Room
Details The technology and studio set-up means you get the most technically advanced Karaoke & Multi-Media studio experience available in Dublin. It’s the ultimate add-on to elevate your party or corporate event!

Hire Cost Booked in 2 hour slots, during pub opening hours. Can be booked as part of large party packages

The Terrace
Details The Terrace at Taphouse is one of the most iconic spaces in Ranelagh. With views across the village, it is the ultimate outdoor party space.

Party menus & packages
It wouldn’t be a party without great food and drinks and we offer a wide variety of both to fit every taste and budget. We have packages that cover everything from a few appetizers to a full-on buffet, a formal sit-down dinner or anything in between.
If you have any specific requirements our dedicated event team and Chef will be more than happy to create the perfect party for you. We also provide entertainment; from small acoustic acts, as well as Karaoke or DJ dance parties.

In order to ensure availability of the freshest ingredients, platters must be pre-ordered with a 25% deposit paid at least 2 days in advance of booking date.
